RPC Christian Academy is currently seeking educators and teachers of grade bands, content areas, and electives that are willing to commit to our school's vision and mission. Our compensation is a salary pay scale for teachers based on experience and grade level(s) taught for the current academic school year (bonuses, before/after school care are paid separately and at the school's discretion), and in the form of tuition discount for teachers' students attending the academy. All teachers for RPC Christian Academy will be required to agree to our Statement of Faith upon hiring, submit to a background check, and sign a contract for the school year.
Each year, we seek teachers in several grade levels in both self-contained and departmentalized settings. Hiring depends on teacher availability, student enrollment, and class size. Electives teachers with an area of specialty are also considered for hiring. All persons on campus, including volunteers, are required to pass a background check. At the time of the interview, please provide a resume and any documentation you have to show for your prior experience or skills (This may include but is not limited to: college courses taken, partial or completed degrees, certificates, endorsements, licenses, employment records, portfolios, letters of reference from previous employers, church pastor, parents, etc.). Experience can be in the form of both traditional and non-traditional teaching pathways, substitute teaching experience, paraprofessional experience, teacher aide/assistance, homeschooling, and co-op classes.
